Houston Zoo

Lyra is a card-carrying member of the Houston Zoo (actual carrying of card delegated to Daddy). She visits her friends there every week. And why not? It's smack dab in the middle of Hermann Park, a mere ten-minute walk from home.

"WHAT? We could have seen sea lions in the wild when we were in California for Thanksgiving? And we didn't go? For shame, Daddy. For. Shame."
