Lyra's Smile

Lyra loves to smile. She smiles when she finds something interesting; she smiles when she wants your attention; she smiles when she's in a good mood. Her smile comes in many different versions, and she is always testing out new ones.  Her most recent creation features a squinching of the eyes, a baring of the teeth, and something between a squeal and a roar.  She often looks like the audience members they always cut to during comedy show tapings.

As the following pictures indicate, Lyra found a recent lunch of oven-roasted vegetables, potatoes, and lasagne to be ... acceptable.

 "Mashed potatoes are funny!"

 "WHAT?!?!?  A priest, a rabbi and a duck go where?"

"It's a good thing I didn't have a mouthful of food or this would have been a major spit-take.  For reals."
